Good news everyone. The scanner feed from Arkansas County is offically online. Broadcasting live scanner feeds. It is broadcasting E Troop, D Troop, Arkansas, Monroe, and Phillips Counties along with everything else it can pick that has to do with Police, Fire, EMS or Govt. It is doing a wonderful job. One catch is that it isn’t broadcasting to a website yet. Here is what you do. Go to http://www.incidentbroadcast.com and download Teamspeak. Look on the left colum and click "Download TS." It is a small program. . Once it is downloaded go to www.incidentbroadcast.com and look in the left column and click the tutorials on “How to Connect” Follow the instructions for connecting to the incident broadcast server and you can listen to the live feed. Once it is downloaded and installed you will be able to connect to the scanner. So those of you that do not have AWIN but have a internet connection here is your chance

Dunno about the future. I sure hope not for my listenings sake! I am approximately 40 to 50 miles south of where this feed is.

I beleive the feed includes a few counties and towns PDs, FDs, etc. Also the Arkansas State Police system (AWIN) which includes some Sheriff's depts. and other agencies. The State Police part of it includes the patrol, investigations, etc.

EDIT: Just to add to that, the feed includes both Troop D and E traffic and you might hear the occasional Troop F traffic as well.

i guess what im trying to get at is on the scanner the ASP sounds more like a highway patrol insted os state police. Sounds more like OSP on MARCS insted of KSP which does 911 calls, etc

The ASP will assist on City/County incidents like shootings etc. but they mainly patrol the highways and work accidents. Very few calls answered like fights, etc.
