Update

BROOMFIELD - A fire destroyed a home near North Sheridan Boulevard and 144th Avenue Monday evening.

North Metro firefighters say they are still trying to determine what caused the fire at 14380 Erin Court, but they believe it started in the garage and spread to the home.

The family that was living in the home was renting it.

Authorities say no one was injured by the fire.
