856.2625 800 MHz Tone Out for Asheville Fire/Rescue *Uses DPL, I think its 074*
857.9875 800 MHz Conventional Fire Ground/Tactical for Asheville Fire/Rescue *Uses DPL, I think also 074*

Oh you mean the actual 2 Tone Code....
http://wiki.radioreference.com/index.php/Buncombe_County_(NC)

**All departments use the MOT 2 tone group except Weaverville which uses MOT 5**
Weaverville uses 5 tone grouping so remember to switch settings for them.
I can't see an listing for AFR, so if you put it in search mode, you should be able to find it. Once you do, please add it to the wiki, or post it here so one of us can. TY!

For Buncombe Fire Tone Out each Department uses an different set both A and B, as is listed in that wiki page. SO to hear them all, you would need to set up a tone out listing for each of them, or leave it open. Weaverville has a 5 Tone Set for Fire Tone Out.

All the channels listed are conventional.

The only Tone Set we don't have listed in the wiki yet is the 5 tone set for Weaverville FD. I think we have all the others.

It may be fun to try and pin them down Jake, so go ahead and give it a try. Not sure if are very busy in winter season, except responding to like chimney fires, and wrecks. So it may take a while to hear them toned out. But with severe weather being a possibility in the next week or so, they may get calls for first responder action. And I can't remember when they do a weekly Pager Test. AFR does pager and radio checks daily every morning.

Interesting, Weaverville isn't supposed to be using 2 Tone, they were using 5 Tones.... Apparently they switched. Did you just catch an Weaverville Tone Out?
