i'v really enjoyed this scanner sense i'v bought it severnal weeks ago.. I have no major problems to report and i got a great price on the scanner form where I purchased it.

I love listening to my scanner and useing it with my computer dialy. I have only one desire, that is to have a discriminator tap on my scanner.

I have read through all the posts aobut the bct15 discriminator tap and i understand the instructions fully. My only problem is. I do not see well enough to install the needed jack and do the required soldering.

I was wondering if someone could point me to someone or a place that does discriminator installations. Any help would be greatly apprecatd.

CanDoo, I'd recommend getting a second scanner to install the D-tap in. If using your BCT15 with a tap to feed a program like Unitrunker you won't be able to use it to scan at the same time.

Look into an old RS Pro-93 (94, 95). They are pretty easy to tap and you should be able to find one used fairly cheap. This way you won't risk messing up your new BCT15 plus you'll be able to use it at the same time.
