Asking for help

I was asked "what had changed in the new from the old analog police scanners?" but I'm really not sure how to answer that. Any suggestions?

Great! Thank you. I really can't say that I regret the price of the SDS200. It works like a dream and the capabilities are way beyond anything I was expecting. I have been going over the Sentinel software and reading information on RadioReference. I really appreciate all the good people here on RadioReference for the direction and the good people at Scanner Master were more than understanding.
