Is the new Marcus Comm System for Hartford County that has a tg listed as ASM dispatch utilizing LTR passport? I had been informed that ASM was passport and as such could not be monitored. However, if this is not true, I would be very pleased! Anyone have any info? Thanks. Andy

LTR Passport is not able to be monitored with any current scanner in trunk mode. You may be able to listen in conventional mode if you don't mind the beeps.
That LTR system that was added is NOT Passport. They have a few different talkgroups and that one posted as a new system happens to be regular LTR. If you look under the business section you will also see a conventional repeater they use on a regular basis as well.
Their main operations talkgroup is Passport.

I never tried, but passport can be monitored, but I believe you need two? computer controlled scanners to make it work. I think cg has the details, or its somewhere here in teh group. Try a search.
