Why on the upcomming sites, have they asked for the higher freqs, knowing that they must come off them down to below 860 MHz per the agreement by Nextel, and the FCC? Why not just get in on the safe bands, or heck just get a foot in the door on 700 like everyone else? They want digital by 08,.. but if they jump in the higher bands,... they will just have to totally redo thier system when they have to go lower..... Just another case of "umm we didn't know" syndrome?

It's probably the same person that thought an 800Mhz Statewide System, with too few sites in this terrain was a novel idea.
