I'm hearing ASP Troop B Dispatch (TGID 201) being simulcast on B LAW (TGID 2637)

I assume this is done for the county units to be able to hear any activity in their area due to the icy weather.

Perhaps. Also may be because the National Guard guys are assisting where needed in Humvees. I’m not for sure why, just surmising.

Interesting. I have not heard Troop J (Clarksville) on J Law at all today. I know that Pope County Sheriff and Troop J regularly patch back and forth to each other directly.

For the most part all I've heard are radio checks between ANG bases / units.

National Guard units are operating on Troop B Dispatch as they always have during icy weather.

Pretty sure every troop does their own thing

I've not heard a peep out of anyone on the ADEM or MAC TGIDs

This ^ - They have the Law com but not the dispatch talkgroups. With that being said, its varies from troop to troop.

OK I take it back... now I am hearing traffic on the J Law talk group. I think it's ANG coordinating with ASP.
I'm sure hearing a lot of dispatches on local fire channels to house fires. I suspect it's space heaters being used improperly.

I assumed they have B Law and B Dispatch patched together at the console but maybe not. If so, that's why you'll hear them on B Dispatch as if they have the TG. Disclaimer: I am not "in the know", I am just surmising and assuming based on...things.

It's all magic & sorcery.... possibly telekinesis in play as well.

Listening in is a good way to pass the time on a cold day. Good day to capture radio IDs & sort out who's who.
