Assistance needed

I've searched many forums, cannot find out:
1. When it is scanning the 2 channels I programmed, I press Hold, 1, Hold so I can go directly to channel 1 but I get "out of band".
2. When I try to enter a frequency to save as a channel, I get "out of band"
The frequency I was trying to use is 851.1125. (I see the highest MHZ is 512 but does that mean the highest frequency I can save is 512 ?
3. Lowest line on display shows "SRC: 23 56 8 0 and manual indicates those are the enabled banks to search. No channels are Locked out. Why aren't all 1-0 banks shown ?

I've poured over google results and I'm stuck.

I added a generic thread title, but people will need to know what model of scanner you have.

What model scanner do you have?
1. I don't think that will work, you need to scroll to that channel.
2. if your scanner only covers to 512MHz, you won't be able to put that frequency in.
3. If you press each number key, that bank should be active (provided something is programmed in to a channel in each bank)
