add a 0 before the last 7 and it decoded

Your radio needs to be flashed for digital ID. If it were, the flashcode would start with a 4 or 5.

FYI. it does depend on exactly what MDC signals you want the radio to decode. If you want to display the ID's of TXing units, then yes, you need 5 or 4 as the first digit of the flash for "enhanced digital ID display"

However, your radio will decode and properly display/alert MDC pages, pvt calls, and MDC acknowledgments as it stands now.

Ok thank you. 99% of the time I only use it to read the ID of the Tx'ing unit.

Hi,

I have a 4 in my flash key of an astro spectra and was able to see "call received" when the MDC alerted.
I changed some things around in the codeplug but still cant get it to display the MDC ID.

Are you familiar with the codeplug of this radio to assist with this problem?
