Well, passed the HAM Techician test last month, wanted my old call sign back, subsequently applied for a vanity call sign to GET my old call sign back, and, low and behold, checking the database last night, looks like everything finally came through.
Thus, I am, once again, KB8OPW.....that's Kilo Bravo 8, Oscar Papa Whiskey.... or.... as was coined back in the day, Kilo-Bravo-8, Ohio Pattern Works.

I guess I'll be deciding what route to take beyond my TH225 antique... not that there is a THING wrong with it (I actually like it very much still), it IS a 2m (only) radio.
