ATF Shreveport

If anyone lives in the S'port.area.There used to be an ATF freq.of 418.9 that was always in the clear.But I have not heard it in over a year...Does anyone know if the ATF went 800?

Good deal on the frequencies.But I still think they have to be hiding other places too I looked into their command truck 2 yrs ago at the radio.It sure did look like an 800 radio.


Where is everybody in NW La?

Come on Shreveport give us some verified fed freq's.

hey look the ones that i gave you are good but i will find out if they have changed some of there radios to the 800 i will let ya know what i found out ,And if they are new fre i will let ya know but for now just use these.

suppose to be talking to him thursday night family cook out ya know and that would be a good time to find out if they have new ones...

A LOT of the fed agencies are also on the state TRS.... FBI, etc.... just be forewarned they will be using encrypted coms a lot of the time!

ATF does not use anything in the 400 MHz range everything is VHF hi in the 164-174 range. Only exceptions are offices that use a state radio system, but that is by office or state not nation wide.

Yes I do completely understand that it is a old thread, but I am new to this forum and just came across the topic. None of the other replies actually specified that ATF does not operate in the 400 range, so I just thought I would toss that out in case someone else did come across it. Obviously you did so there may be someone else. No harm intended, I'm just a little behind the curve. 
