Searched the post and didn't see anything on ATK frequencies. I was up there today shooting the solid rocket test, while searched for freqs, only able to find one for the launch control.

Frequency 508.5000 Tone 179.9 I have submitted it.

Wondering if anyone has or knows of other for ATK Promontory facility?

Thanks

Let me get this straight, the 500 MHz freq was a voice channel? We don't have
"T Band" authorization in Utah. Is this a government-used frequency smack in the middle of TV channel 20 "because they can?"

There is a bunch of business band ATK in the database...

As the others noted, this is mighty strange. Any chance it was an interference image of some other frequency? That can happen when you're close to a transmitter. Wally, can you try monitoring this from a distance?

Tim - I have programmed it, but with the Wellsvilles between us it's unlikely...

Now that you all mention it, maybe your right! There was a microwave antenna down near the public viewing are, maybe it was for the PA system ( I thought it was for the VIP TV monitors in the tent ). Either way it was a clean signal and can be a frequency all can use if going up there to view a test in the future. (this is the second test Ive been up on in the last month and that freq was used both times)

I will beheading up there again, Ill have to keep an ear to the ground for others.

Anyone know of others?

Not a mic

More then likely a seperate audio channel in the microwave system that feeds to public PA system...

Slightly off topic, but how do you find out when they are doing rocket motor tests? I have wanted to witness one for years, and can't ever get word "before" the tests.
