I figured I'd start the thread this year. It is scheduled to take place Wed, 8/13/14. I plan on going for the first time this year and already printed out a list of previous frequencies used in the past that were posted here. If there are any new frequencies that may be used this year, please post.

Practice is 8/12. 120.300 MHz and 124.600 MHz are the local control and approach/departure control for KACY. 132.250 MHz is "North" approach control but I don't here them using it often but with the increase of air traffic in the KACY area they may use it this event.

I have tried to search for Airboss several times but since I don't go near Atlantic City when the airshow is happening I don't hear them. I do all my airshow watching from at the airport.

One thing to note Atlantic City is covered under the WASHINGTON ATCC not the NY ATCC. You should add all the Washington ATCC frequencies in NJ. Maybe someone can note if trhe UHF ATCC frequencies are active

Fixed.

In the future, please note that the wiki can be modified by anyone - in other words if you see an error, please fix it....Mike

It's supposed to clear up around noon down there on Wednesday, but rain all morning according to the most recent forecast for AC. Would they cancel the Air Show if it rains?

Airshow requires either 5 or 10 miles visibility and the thunderbirds require a 1500ft ceiling for a flat show.. Rain itself is not an issue but rain could effect visibility.

I was listening to the Show Boss from my shop at the FAA Tech Center. Heard aircraft checking in but since the Show Boss is behind the casinos I didn't hear him. Everything stopped about 1330 due to the rain.

So far.....135.650 is the VHF Air Boss Channel. Coast Guard Ops on 157.150 in coordination with State Police. Close called a brief key up on 173.0125 and 173.075 near the Air Force tent.

The Golden Knights aircraft just took off and was told to contact Show Boss on 135.650 MHz.

Edit 1. BTW The active runway at KACY is RWY 31 today.
