I have noticed the DMR info in the DB for Atlantic City has been basically non existant. I am thinking of picking up a Baofeng or TTY DMR HAM radio in the near future and would like to also use it to monitor some of the DMR activity in AC when I go there, especially the Tanger Outlet Security and evesdrop on those Jitneys. According the FCC DB, the AC Jitneys use 451.225, 461.600, and 461.850. I know they are DMR from being inside them, but can anyone with one of those digital scanners living in the area figure out the color codes, radio slot, and,TGs for them? I'd really appreciate it. The same for Tanger Outlets (frequencies in FCC DB).

Oh ok. Thanks for the info. Who would have guessed, All ONES. haha I would imagine the Jitneys probably have other TGs too since I sometimes hear them having endless conversations amongst themselves while riding in them.

I only copied them on that talk group and slot. Looks like they just used the defaults.

Also I never heard anything on the analog channels with 162.2 PL. It would be interesting to see if you find anything else.

Ok thanks. Yeah, I doubt they use analog at all anymore. I won't be down there again until late Fall, so if I have my DMR radio by then, I will post what I pick up.

According to a friend in the Jitney and taxi business in Ac the Jitney owners association has a dMr system that any association members can use which is probably that 1 dmr frequency you found. 2 or 3 of the bigger fleet owners have their own radios mainly between their own fleet some are analog some digital.

Jitneys

Just for reference on jitney:
All vans use dmr mobiles.
They seem to use 3 channels. Channel one is main control. Used to tell other vans along the casino route professional, or atleast semi professional updates and locations. Their Channel two seems to be used sparingly as a van to van channel, altho their ch 1 seems to also have most of their relaxed conversations and chatter. Their Channel 3 is used for their train shuttles. Free for nj transit riders, these congregate in groups of 1 to 3 vans at the train station and service all casinos as trains arrive. They have a civilians stationed directing riders with a non moto handheld on this channel to board people. This post contains no frequencies but atleast describes channels assignments. All dmr.

Ok, so it is possible that all 3 channels are separate TGs on the same frequency? However, you mentioned civilians with the non moto handhelds. Doesn't this mean non DMR? Perhaps that would explain their other licensed frequencies. I wont be able to get there again until November, so if anyone can get their exact channel layout, talkgroups, frequencies, etc.. that would be great.
