My wife and I are planning on going down to AC this summer and spending time at the Atlantic Club Casino. I know it used to be known as AC Hilton. Does the Atlantic Club casino use the same frequencies as AC Hilton did for their security operations or do they have their own new set of frequencies? I'm just trying to figure out how to program my scanner and if I should even bother programming in the old AC Hilton frequencies still listed in the RR database?

Also, while on the subject of Atlantic City, is there old police frequency of 155.130 MHz used at all anymore? I ask because it is still listed in Radio Reference under Atlantic City. Thanks for your help.

I don't know about the Atlantic Club Casino but I KNOW ACPD DOESN'T use 155.1300 any more! I was down in March and again in April and not one peep. For the fire department I know they dispatch on the VHF frequency then switch to the trunked system for communications

I just wanted to let you know that the Atlantic Club Casino closed its doors back in January after Ceasars and the Tropicana bought the building and it's assets . Neither of the new owners wanted it to be operated as a casino. The gaming equipment was taken by the Trop and the building a property is owned by Ceasars. As far as I know Ceasars does not have any plans for the property.

The former Atlantic Club was sold again last week. The same Florida firm that purchased the Claridge bought it and plans to operate it as a non-gaming establishment.

Thanks for the info everyone. At least I can monitor security of Tropicana and Ceasars on my scanner. I believe I can still pick up the Oultet Mall Security guards too and listen to the live feed of the police on my iphone police app.

You should be able to hear all of the casinos' operations on an ordinary analog trunking scanner. I recently purchased a Pro-107 really cheap (around $30) and keep it in the car to listen to NJSP and casino ops. when I'm in the area. I hear all of the casino ops. including security, slots, room service, etc.
