Just curious, if anything like a decoder for OTA TV in the form of an ATSC decoder exists?
I'm not sure that I understand what you mean by a decoder?

Do you want to watch TV with your computer?

Do you want to see what the signal looks like as on a spectrum analyzer?

Do You want technical details about the transport stream?

Bummer because I thought those TV tuners were basically SDR type receivers not much different than the ones we use as radio tuners. The software for those programs reside on the PC too, so I figured someone must have put two and two together already.

Yeah, just something to have on one of the monitors while I'm at the computer doing other things. They already have dongles out there that do it, I just figured some of our SDR's are BETTER than those cheaper ones (unless there is something different about them). So yes, to watch. Those units sold as TV tuners require software to run on the PC, I thought someone else had probably already had come up with an addon or program that did it.

The least expensive alternative is to use a Mediasonic converter box connected to the spare monitor.

The next step up is a SiliconDust HDHR, but that uses computer software. For the same cost, you could buy a small TV on sale.

Tyler has upgraded to the Mediasonic HomeWorx (HW250STB)

I didn't know SDRuno had decoders, most configurations, they pipe to other app decoders like Jaero.
