atsc usb tv dongles

so I have 2 rtl sdrs running, , just monitoring analog at the moment, but was considering a north american tv usb reciever and trying that out using GQRX, hoping to get 6mhz of bandwidth.
Has anyone tried this already?

The chipset and command structure are different. The hack that produces RTL-SDRs only works on the European R820T and E4000 based dongles.
