Does anyone know who drives a sexy black p/u truck with a light bar, a siren and something like "Creek County Race Official" printed on it in large white type?

its funny you mention that because i was in the tulsa area this last weekend and went to that creek county race track to watch a friend race. while i was there i seen that truck, its a newer model ford like 06 or 07.
they use it as there pace truck. its got strobes, siren, radios, but instead of buying one big led light bar to go all of the way across the top it has three small led bars side by side. looks like crap if you ask me.
there was also a mid 90's model chevy with an old halogen light bar, siren, radio, and a push bar on the front. the only way i know they had sirens is because they were honkin at each other in the parkin lot. looked like border line whackers but maybe they really need that stuff who knows

So here's why I'd like to find out who drives this:
This knuckle head was running up down my NEIGHBORHOOD street running between 80 - 100 mph with his siren going. This is a mid-town Tulsa, 25 mph residential, little kids ridding their bikes kind of neighborhood. I'm so furious I can't see straight!!!! I keep having visions of his stupid truck squishing my little boy. The stupidity of it all overwhelms me!!!

After the incident, I turned on the scanner and heard a few calls complaining about the truck and also heard a call about a rolling domestic in the area. I think this guy may have been running around the neighborhood in a violent fit of full-on wacker-ism trying to get involved in the action.

So, assuming I can track him down at the Kellyville raceway, what can I do about it? It IS illegal for a POV to have a LE siren, isn't it? If I call Creek County SO, will they make him take out the siren? Will they maybe hassle him a bit? Will they care? Should I imply that he may have been trying to impersonate an officer (I don't know for sure, but I suspect).

Any suggestions on how I can turn my RAGE into action?

i would say that right there is your best shot at getting anything done. i would think if you went high enough somebody would get him, of course they may have to see him do it or get more witnesses. having the siren or even the red/blue light bars and strobes should be illegal anyways. i dont mind amber as much but i dont htink you should be allowed to have red/blues unless its an emergency vehicle. i dont care if its odot, construction, wreckers, or neighborhood watch.

of course if all else fails next time hes drivin back and forth you could throw some nails in the street (that was meant as a joke but if you do it please dont tell anyone i told ya to) keep me up to date on what happens.

All you can do is whine to the cops about it. Good luck. It's NOT illegal for a POV to have a siren in it. It's illegal to use it on the roadways though. What's an LE siren? How do you know it wasn't a FIRE siren or an EMS siren? LOL.

I'm wondering if this the same guy That used to run code to from his house in Oilton to Jennings FD in a black pickup? hmm... I'd call CCSO and complain about, most of those guys have no tolerance for people like that, and would love to aquire a new siren ;).
