:D The Radio Shack 800 mHz antenna is a tremendous improvement over the "stock" antenna at 800 mHz. It also works well at 460 mHz, but you will see some degradation at 150 mHz and the Lo-VHF (30-50) band, especially on weaker signals. At $15, it is well worth it. It really improved 800 mHz on my Pro-92 and Pro-94 trunkers. :D

 I have easily monitored Atlanta and Cobb County's Motorola Type 2 systems when visiting that area of Georgia. But at 90 miles, I doubt you will be able to reliably pickup Atlanta's 800 mHz system. That's a very long distance for 800 mHz unless you are on a mountain top with a high gain multi element yagi type antenna aimed right at Atlanta.

and believe it or not, an amplified antenna will do good too. Such as this one on e bay made by radio shack. You just have to get the right connectors from coax to bnc. I use one from radio shack they made back in the early 90's. The model # is 15-1607.
