Attn r2500 & r20 owners, a ?

Hope I'm in the right group. Here's my question:

I have a R20 and use the icom software for it and have a saved "icf" file for configuration.

I just received a R2500 and am meddling my way through getting acquainted with it.

Does anyone know if a R20 icf file can be imported into the R2500 software? I tried it, but it failed. I saw there is a data convert feature in the R2500 software that I was wondering if it would be of any help. In typical true Icom manual style, I'm scratching my head because of how vague it is.

Has anyone had the same issue and conquered it? I hate to enter all that stuff in manually (again).

I have a PCR 2500, and understand that a CSV file can be entered. I have never tried it though. I recently bought Uniden BCD996XT because the 2500 will not follow talkgroups and needed an additional chip for P25. The Uniden receiver will run rings around the Icom, the included Icom software is limited, and I never could get that freeware crap they include to work either.
