Effective yesterday, Auburn has implemented computerized Dispatch for FIRE DISPATCH. For now, they follow this with a human dispatcher repeating the dispatch. No doubt this is a step in the conversion to the Montgomery Metro DTRS. The computer dispatch sounds identical to ones I’ve personally heard in Charlotte, NC and Coweta County, GA (Newnan).
