Hi there! There's a problem in Audio Copyright Protection! Until the companies offer a truly fair DRM system it'll hurt the rights of common users who can't manage their purchased music in their way. Just don't buy the stuff
Consumers think they are weak in fighting things like DRM. The truth is we have ALL of the power, if we just band together. I will not purchase anything that is copy protected (with DRM). And let the companies know WHY you are not purchasing their product.
The retail price for a piece of vinyl used to be under $10 new. These were not cheap to produce. Now they want approx $17 for a pice of plastic that costs them pennies to produce. AND they add all things like rootkits, DRM and other stuff. When people stopped buying CDs, the music companies guessed that everyone MUST be stealing the stuff. HA!
If you refuse to buy a product, it sends a message.
