Hello,

I am visiting Minnesota this weekend and trying to listen to the ARMER system. I am trying to listen to the Edina and Richfield PD/FD channels. However, I am experiencing audio cut out. I will only hear part of the transmission so I am not able to make sense of any traffic. I am using a Uniden 396T.I do not have any priority channels set, I am not monitoring the WX channels so it does not appear to be a radio configuration issue. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
JM

do you have an fm channel separating the control channels for east and west?

nope, the way I pasted them in my previous post is how they are entered on the radio. No idea why it's not working....

Thanks,
JM

Well, the fact that you posted a long list of freqs leads one to believe you haven't programmed the system(s) properly as trunked systems. You would only have to program a maximum of 4 freqs per system and you mentioned 2 separate simulcast sites so there should be no more than 8 freqs programmed. ideally as 2 separate systems. Are you sure you programmed this as a trunking system and not just a collection of conventional freqs?

Well, thanks but your incorrect and I have fixed it on my own. I have traveled to many different places and never had problems listen to other systems and frankly your reply lacks respect but I would expect that from here. never again will I ask sorry to bother anyone.

Sorry, my crystal ball is in the repair shop this week so I was unable to read your mind. If you are going to be so sensitive to the responses to your vague question, you might consider posting a little more detail next time. Few of us here actually know you or your level of expertise and your posting did not elaborate, so the respect you are demanding is without a foundation. Glad you figured out the problem.
