Hello all,
I have several FM/AM/SW radios - including the Eton Elite Field BT (newest edition) and the Retekess/Tivdio V115.
The other day, I was listening to them back to back - when I realized that the V115 seems to have better audio than the (generally well rated for its audio) Elite Field.
Is this just me, or is it possible that a $20 (subcompact, entry level) radio sounds better than a $100+ (tabletop, mid range) radio? (The V115 is with neutral equalizer, while on the Elite Field I boosted bass and treble - still the V115 sounds better to my ear; Elite Field with neutral equalizer is no contest). Or is something broken with my Elite Field audio?
Of course, I am not comparing any other feature - just pure sound quality on strong (same) FM or AM broadcast frequencies.
Thank you for sharing your experience.
