I never thought I would get this far, but hear I am. I built my data slicer and with help from some of you I got it working. I used the tap from an old Pro-34, and everything seems to be working properly. I can't get over all the information that is displayed. Now it is time to move on to the audio scanner that hooks up to trunker. I have built the trunker interface cable that connects to one com port on my computer. Now for the scanner to use. I have 2 Pro 95's, 1 Pro 96 and a uniden sportcat 200(my wifes race scanner), which I understand will not work. I am looking for sugestions for one. Since I have so many handhelds I am leaning toward a desktop. Most of my scanning is with Motorola and Edacs systems. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

Is the other side of the slicer able to connect to a scanner with the built in 9 pin port? If so, then base radios Pro-2052, BC's 780, 785 and 796 will work, though the 2052 and 780 will work only with analog systems.
