Audio When Streaming

When you become a feed provider and have a dedicated scanner, dongle, and PC (or whatever). Are the transmissions audio always audible? As in, for instance. My dedicated PC will be in the office along with my wife where she works. If I want the volume down to where she can't hear it or doesn't bother her. Will it affect the stream also? Is there a way to separate the two? Hopefully I explained that correctly.

Input audio and playback audio are two different things. You should be able to mute playback audio without affecting the stream input audio.
