Dave, can you elaborate on the 3 800mhz freqs added to the DB? I was under the impression that fireground comms were on the Philly trunked system and were encrypted.

Are the comms being simulcasted on these freqs, or are the freqs provided in the event of a failure of the trunked system?

I monitored North FG for about an hour. Did not hear anything, but perhaps insufficient time allowed.

Thanks.

Low-Power,
so i can understand,
you mean,

low power,
like the radio(s) TX is set
to a range/power to only be
heard in the general area
of the users on the system?

maybe 1/2 mile-1 mile
circumference of the FG..

thnx in advance,,

And likely only used during radio system failures and where the radio system coverage is poor. Not routinely.
