Aurora Carjacking, Pursuit, and OIS

Jeep Cherokee initially stolen at gunpoint at 15400 E Colfax Ave with a possible involved party that was following in a different vehicle. Aurora PD contacted the stolen vehicle at E Mississippi Ave & S Rifle St. Vehicle rammed an Aurora PD vehicle and then ran. After a 13 minute pursuit, the vehicle stopped when it ran out of road on E Aurora Pkwy near S Quemoy Way where shots were then fired. EMS transported the driver in traumatic arrest from the scene with 4 fire riders to Parker Adventist Hospital.

The Aurora PD press release sounds pretty much like how it turned out (minus the info about the red car, which is one the other woman was following in - the one that was detained but not arrested). The first woman was in the passenger seat of the carjacked car and she was arrested on warrants and more charges.
