I did not have my scanner with me at the time, however I did get a very good look at the accident as I was parked opposite direction lanes from the actual accident site. From what I could see, it looked like it may have been a head on accident because the black Grand Prix was facing the wrong way. The top and all four doors had been removed from Aurora's Trucks that were on scene on the gold Toyota. There were about 20 or so of APD officers on scene blocking off all of parker road and re-routing cars. Aurora Crime lab, Rural/Metro ambulance, Aurora Fire engines, trucks, batt. chief and I believe Med. 2 were all on scene. There was what I think was a body lying near both cars, however was probably thrown from one of the cars and was covered up with a yellow sheet. There was a horrible amout of blood and vehicle fluids spread all across the high way, which was being hosed off by engine 6.

Can you guys post some of the radio traffic that I missed like if any choppers were used before I got caught up in the mess, did the ambulances go routine or emergant to the hospital, which engines and trucks were those that I saw, stuff like that...

Thanks everyone and be sure to pray for the families who lost someone in the horrible accidents tonight, both in this accident and the tractor accident.

Be safe out there

E-6 first onscene request Batt Chief, Med 2 and 3 ambulances emergent.

Added 7's a pair and immediatly launched L/G 72.

If you received out incident pages you would have not missed it even minus your scanner.
