So, what happend to the "first in, last out" rule of Triage?

Medic 102 First on scene and transports a Trauma Arrest (BLACK) leaving 3 trauma red's on scene?

AURORA - Police responded early Monday morning to a serious injury accident on Interstate 225 between East Colfax Avenue and East 6th Avenue.

Four adults were injured in the two-vehicle accident just after midnight in the southbound lanes of I-225. A 7-year-old boy escaped injuries.

In the preliminary investigation, Aurora Police say a dark green 1994 Volkswagen Passat was struck from behind by a 1997 white Chevrolet Blazer.

The occupants of the Volkswagen were transported to the Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion (University Hospital) where the female driver is listed in very critical condition and the male passenger is listed in serious condition, according to police.

The male driver and one adult male occupant of the Blazer were also transported to University Hospital and the 7-year-old boy in the Blazer was transported to Childrens Hospital. The adults are in stable condition and the child was found to have no injuries.

Police are looking into the possibility that the Volkswagen was stopped in the center lane of I-225 when it was struck from behind.

Identification of the occupants is not being released at this time.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in this accident, and investigators will attempt to determine the speed of the vehicles through reconstruction of the accident. All occupants of both vehicles were believed to have been wearing seatbelts.

It sounds like from the 9News Story that the Trauma Arrest might have made it this far if she is listed in "very critical condition". It may not have been a complete arrest, that is just what the battalion chief referred to it as on the radio.
