Clackamas County C-Com posted on FB that they now dispatch for Aurora Fire District. Has anyone heard them on C-Com Ops channels, or are they still on Metcom channels? The PulsePoint App for Aurora FD seems to be populated by Metcom - not C-Com.
Yes, as of July 1st, I have heard them a few times. Haven’t listen enough to see what their primary response system is, especially when they get the ambulance from Woodburn. Not sure if they will switch to the CCOM connection for PulsePoint.
I cant say for sure, but Aurora Fire should be on CCOM radios, and if their medic is out of Woodburn, then the medic 'should' but may not switch to that working channel. There will be a learning curve, as its new still. Add to that the 911 calls could ring into WVCC, METCOM, or CCOM depending on cell towers or landlines.
Yes july 1st we switched over to ccom. Are working ch is ops25 for none fires ops 26 for fires.Metcom only dispatches for the woodburn ambulance for us. Aurora chief's are now C901 ,C902 and duty officer 911.
Ccom told us that they will be full digital by November. All are mutual aid agencies now have at least one 800 radio dual band vhf radio to communicate with us.if we get a call to Hubbard, woodburn ect. we will be on netcom north 6.
