Aurora FD

Hello Everyone.....

I have several radios going at the moment monitoring Aurora FD. So far, after a couple of hours, AFD dispatch is the only voice I have heard. A couple of the radios flash talk groups on the screen, but only dispatch passes audio. Did Aurora FD Encrypt everything but Dispatch?

All of these radios have been programmed for years and worked perfectly until now. No changes have been made to the radio codeplugs recently.

Can anyone confirm that they are or are not encrypted?

What scanner do you have? I have a TRX-1 and haven't had much luck with AFD either.

Hello and welcome to the forums! You may gotten a little lost as you have ended up in the Colorado Radio Discussion Forum where the thread is discussing Aurora, Colorado. You can see this on your end by looking at the top of the forums just above the thread title.

You are probably looking for the Illinois Radio Discussion Forum (linked here). If you found this thread by doing a forum search, then you should visit that forum and then make sure you use the drop down menu to select "This forum" which will restrict your search to just the Illinois Radio Discussion Forum.

From my quick search, it looks like the patch to SC21 is not very active so you may have to wait until Aurora, Illinois move to P25 before you will be able to listen to them.
