AURORA, Colo. -- Two people were shot and another injured overnight in Aurora, and police were trying to determine if the incidents were related.

Just before midnight Monday a person was found injured at the Windsor Court Apartments, 10998 East. 16th Ave. Police would not confirm that the person was shot, although the original call came in as a shooting.

The person was found in a hallway of the apartment building and was taken to a local hospital.

A short time later two people were found shot in a car at 16th Avenue and Joliett Street that matched the description of a car that had left the apartment complex where the injured person was found earlier.

The conditions of the three people were not immediately released.

Police are also investigating an overnight stabbing in the 1300 block of Kingston Street. The man and a friend knocked on doors to ask for help and he was rushed to University Hospital.

The stabbing victim was reported in very critical condition after surgery, police said.
