AURORA - Investigators say a man in his mid-30s was gunned down in the early morning hours Saturday.
Aurora Police say the man was shot multiple times in the upper body around 4 a.m. in the 15400 block of East 13th, near Chambers Road, just outside of an apartment.
The man was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 5 a.m., according to police. His identity was not immediately released.
Detectives say they are in their initial stages of investigation and are in the process of canvassing the neighborhood, interviewing witnesses and obtaining search warrants.
Police say they do not have any suspect information at this time.
