5:46 PM this warm evening, a call came in to fire Dispatch for a stove fire. The call was put out to Engine 1, Engine 2, Truck 2, Truck 8 as RIC, Batt. 1 and Med 2 for a stove fire. When they arrived on scene, "Heavy Smoke and flames showing, engine 2 charge a line at the hydrant, prepare for a quick attack"
Soon after that, Truck 8 Stepped up medic 106 to emergant for an elderly lady without her o2.
