It looks like Austin gave us a Christmas present. Since the end of December the old 460 channels PD/fire/EMS have all been dead. Somebody tell me it is just my antenna and they haven't really killed the links to the old system.

I need someone to confirm this. I have heard that they have disconnected the patches for all of APD due to problems with delays. I know that 462.975 is still linked to EMS control and I still hear AFD on 453.275.

Metrocare is dispatching on 462.975. I did not hear AFD EMS crews on the frequency today even though I did see one running to a call. 462.975 does seem to be linked to the EMS talk group on the Bastrop county system.

It's true. All 460's are dead. EMS and AFD Dispatch is still firing up, along with Travis County SO's East (Channel 1) and West (Channel 3) being heard. I'm really glad I spent all that money on a 780 a couple of years back! Now it's time I do the same with digital.
