I have the above adapter multi voltages 3- 6-9-12 does anyone have one I would like to know the fuse voltage. I think it must hv been a radio shack item , but I searched RS products to no avail, plus its a very small type which I havent been able to locate......, thanks for any info.,.,

Fuses for consumer items aren't rated in voltage but in current. Yes, Archer was a Radio Shack brand name but irrelevant, the current rating and classification type are marked on the fuse.

kb2vxa Thanks for info, today I was on amazon and they have "coby ca 709ic regulated at 800ma and is car adapter with the common 12v 9v 7bv 4,5 etc,now my question is 800ma too high to run any of the new scanners like pro96 95- 163-164 ? I would appreciate you advice Tnx Bob

The load will only draw the current it requires to operate. Anything the source can supply over this value is considered "headroom", power in reserve.
