First post here - fairly new to scanners, but as a FF, I've got a bit of radio background...
Anyways - here's the deal...
I'm in Canada, but I recently picked up a PRO-164 on a trip to the US... I'm trying to program in my local frequencies, and having an issue with the scanner "correcting" my entry for me. For instanace, one of the local FD's I want to monitor is on 164.82000 - but when I enter it into the Pro164, it "corrects" it to 164.812500. My Bearcat happliy accepts the frequencies as I enter them.
This happens for probably half of the frequencies I enter...
I picked up the Pro164 for trunking, which my bearcat doesn't have; but as alot of the trunking freq's also experience this "correction" - I'm not able to pick them up either.
I've gone through the book, and took a read through the forums here, but just can't seem to figure it out - HELP???
