By this Public Notice, we seek comment on Aviation Safety Advisory Group of Arizona’s
(ASAG) amended request for waiver of sections 87.187 and 87.323(b) of the Commission’s rules to
assign four frequencies—120.650 MHz, 121.950 MHz, 122.850 MHz, and 127.050 MHz—for air-to-air
use in the Phoenix metropolitan airspace.
ASAG’s amended waiver request substitutes two of the four
requested frequencies from its original waiver request with two new frequencies. ASAG is an Arizona
non-profit organization comprised of volunteer aviators who work with aviation stakeholders throughout
Arizona to promote and educate others on safety practices.
