I'm thinking about buying an AvMap G6 to hook up to my kenwood 710. I know the AvMap will bring some powerful APRS features into the mix, but does anyone have experience using it to actually navigate? My current Garmin has only let me down a few times, but those were mostly due to maps being out of date. Youtube vids and most google searches only talk about the APRS features, but never mention anything else-pros or cons These things are kinda pricey, so I'd like to hear real world users give their opinions. Thanks!
