scanner is a SDS100, the software is ARC536PRO,

system being monitored is STARCOM21 Statewide Illinois
I selected several GROUP to listen to.
I AVOID all the TG-ID under one of the GROUP ( on purpose )
even though all TG-ID were AVOID = ON the TG-ID continued to talk
doesn't AVOID / ON cause the scanner to turn a blind eye to these channels ?
thank you for your time

Any chance that the system could be duplicated (like it is programmed multiple times) in your scanner? You might be avoiding the channel for the first iteration, but when the scanner listens to the duplicated version, that channel hasn't been avoided.

This can happen when someone does a write to scanner without checking the Erase Favorites in Scanner box.
