I noticed in the last two or three months that the AWIN Alert emails from AWIN started having site designators alongside the site name. Upon closer look, the designator letter is the main ASP Troop that the site covers/affects. In other words, B04 Oakland covers ASP Troop B.

I have gone back through my email deleted items and created a Google Spreadsheet of the 17 I could find. I will go out and update this as more alerts come through.

I feel these might should be added to the database site list somehow so that we can see which sites go with each Troop. I realize more than ASP uses AWIN but it appears that is how they are labeling them. Since the site list can be sorted by the Site column, maybe this designator could be added at the beginning of each site so that sorting would put the Troops together (currently Oakland has 056 (38) in the site column).

Here is the spreadsheet thus far: AWIN Sites

@milf Could these be added to that column, please?

Probably would have been a good idea to ask people if they have those.

Also note that the state uses the Zone listings not the system site numbers.rrdb mainly uses the actual data from the system... Then if possible adds ste aliases etc.

Good idea to add AWIN alias to RR DB.

I have also went back thru my old e-mails, but I added what I have to the corresponding RR listing for each site. My list is attached.

Notice that some sites are named differently that what is in the RR DB, and I did see that there is a site 10 that is not in the DB - H00 Fort Smith

Also, I did see in your list E13 Jefferson SW - what site is that, 65, 66 or 68?

Good stuff.

By the way, K13 is down this morning. Alert didn’t indicate why so unknown reason and techs are on the way I suppose.

Nice find, Bubba. Seems last update was April 2019 and who knows if it was fully up to date then or just a minor change made. But that's cool. On one hand I wish they had an accurate map on their website but I guess it makes sense not to fully publicize site locations...

All towers must be fully listed for FAA flight safety reasons. Also all must be licensed properly. Some are municipality owned or county like Little Rock.

They have to be officially registered/listed for FAA, yes, but the question was more is that ArcGIS map official or just something someone threw together. If not official then it may not be accurate, depending on the source.

You all also have the mapping on fcc site. The old maps we made. Which the site numbers all changed due to rezone done. Best bet is go to each County page fcc data and build a map. Anything pre 2019 is going to have three simulcast missing, and the filler down in TX missing.

Alrighty folks, found another map dated 2011 so it's missing alotta stuff - it's poor quality - it was a slide in some sorta presentation. It had alotta stuff in it but was unreadable in the NW corner. I added what I could decipher to my list.

I attached the map as well, y'all see if ya can decipher some tags in the NW corner.

I attached my updated list as well.

H18 (came up as Bowels Mtn on the email, I believe. Or that's what I put on my sheet...)

Cool. The spelling of that one is confusing. It's actually Bowles Mtn. If you go to White Rock Mountain, you might drive on Bowles Gap Road on the way. :)

I may have typed it wrong from what was said in the email. Certainly possible. Or they may have it wrong.

Nice. I'm going to try to get these added to my spreadsheet soon (not that my spreadsheet is any better, but just so I have them all together).

I'm glad ya pointed it out. I had seen the e-mails & site names with prefixes, just never thought about putting it in the DB.

I had already made a spreadsheet with each site sorted by troop for my own use in programming my radios.

I just submitted the whole list to the DB.....hopefully they understand it.
