I'm glad ya pointed it out. I had seen the e-mails & site names with prefixes, just never thought about putting it in the DB.

I had already made a spreadsheet with each site sorted by troop for my own use in programming my radios.

I just submitted the whole list to the DB.....hopefully they understand it.

OK. Yeah, if you mentioned adding a column for it or adding it to the beginning of the site name maybe they will. Since @milf is no longer a db admin it seems to be more haphazard for Arkansas updates for some reason.

I didn't ask to add a column - figured it'd be a huge issue since it seems that it'd be a change to a standard template. I just merged the prefix & name: ex. B21 Floyd that way they can copy & paste in the new name to replace the old one.

Don't want the whole AWIN system updated as deprecated.

It sure would be nice to have milf back as DB admin.

Yeah, that'll be good. Hopefully it made sense to him/them.

Two new ones this afternoon that I didn't have and I don't think were on your list, either (if so I missed them) - I15 Tar Kiln and J04 Guy. I updated my spreadsheet with everything, I think. It's up to 70 sites now.

I do wish that @blantonl would bring you back on as an admin since it's close to falling apart now, it seems. Not sure who the admins are for Arkansas but they don't seem to have their ear to the ground here nearly as good as you did, @milf. Marking all frequencies as 'deprecated' for a county when they are all active...not sure what was going on with that. I put in a new submission and it was corrected but, still...should never have happened. You always kept it neat and orderly and correct. Oh well, not my call...just wishing here...

Alright folks....weirdness going on here.

The AWIN Alert e-mails specifically names Gaither Mtn as I19, but if ya look below it shows on the FCC ULS page as I03

I15 Tar Kiln is shown as I04

WTF is up here??

Could been site re designation. That has happened twice that I know of when they shuffled Zones. And with the multiple new simulcasts and all added, and stuff changed over the past couple of years,... They might have switched a few sights around so old data does not match what we have now? Or the FCC data could be off compared to what State has on file? I know that we used to have a AWIN site map broken down by ASP Troops,.. But when they did the first shuffle up of the Zones, and added a few new sites, that map was made mostly invalid. That's the map that I think is in the wiki still? Plus the Google Earth file I have is now only about 3/4 correct due to the multiple new sites added etc.

I noticed the emissions for all the sites were 20K0F3E (FM voice) instead of 16K0F9W / 16K0F3E as is typical of P25

Any clue as to why that is?

Old license. All the updated/renewals have all the new emissions on them. A lot of them are coming up for renewal/modifications this year. Also look for 8K10 designators, and 8K70 for LSM's... And 9K70, 9K80

Alright milf.....explain this:

Independence Co.

Two separate licenses - newest grant has FM voice / Older had P25 data / voice

Reckon the FM voice are still being used? If not why keep the license & why is it a later date of issue?

State guy just did renewal and did not file mods like he should. And the licenses were filed and approved different times. Possibly this was a site that had add on freqs during the transition to P25.

Sometimes the state guy will just go "hey its renewal time for this giant ass radio system... And there are 50 sites that need renewal in next month..." And he has load of other crap to file, and new applications for x county to join in and change the specs etc.. Oh and troop k has 13 radios needing reprogrammed....

Benton County has moved to AWIN. I started hearing radio techs testing over the weekend. Yesterday, I heard normal dispatch and units, as well as some radio checks. And the typical things that happen with getting used to new radios, like accidentally hitting the emergency button and open mics. An article in the Dem-Gazette confirms the switchover happened Tuesday and that new towers have been constructed. I'll listen more and submit to the database.

So far:

3041: Cencom (small town PDs are here)
3042: Maybe records & lookups?
3055: Fire/EMS dispatch
3058: Fire Ops5
3059: Fire Ops 6
3071: Sheriff Dispatch
3074: Encrypted

Suggestion for the database: perhaps "Benton County (04) Talkgroups" can be renamed "Benton County - Siloam Springs (04) Talkgroups" to make room for a new category for Benton County Sheriff TGs.
