Just got a rs 2096 and have put in the lonoke and cabot tower channels. I have heard and saved the id's for lonoke so, lonoke pd, cabot pd, cabot fire, asp, carlise. It seems to me that I am not hearing them all the time. Kinda like it comes and goes. For example when cabot pd is real active I am not hearing the others. I am wondering if this is a programming problem? I am new to all this, so any help or suggestions are welcome. Thanks Jon

Most likely it is not a programming problem if you have saved the IDs. I would say the activity makes the others seem as though they aren't being used when actually you are just stopped on another channel longer. They could also be using their older VHF-High frequencies?

Thanks for the reply. That just might be it. I will experiment some witht he l/o on some id's and see what goes. Not sure about cabot pd but lonoke pd has turned off their vhf repeater that was located on 154.86. The lonoke so 155.07 is still on and will hear very limited traffic on it. And if anyone is interested tag id's 21254 is the city of lonoke, and 21250 is carlisle pd. I will try and figure out how to get those submited to the rr db. Thanks Jon
