I was on I540 the other day and had all of the channels listed for the unconfirmed Mountainburg site programmed into the Pro96 scanner. I did not hear a control channel on any of those frequencies.
Anyone have any ideas? Is this just a proposed site? A site that is not online yet? Anyone know?
Thanks,
JJ

PS- I am submitting a change for the Springdale/Rogers area- (control channel is wrong on one of those).

Did you check the 700 MHz band? The control channel might be in that band. The Lake City site uses 700 MHz channel pairs, but they are not locally licensed, but are covered under a statewide blanket license from the FCC.

..

I don't think they will use a 700 mHz band frequency for a control channel on the AWIN sites- too much equipment in place already that won't do 700 mHz (State Police cars with astro spectras mainly). I did not have my BCD396T with me to do a CloseCall search though... So I only checked those frequencies listed. Also, the closest sites to Mountainburg (Cedarville, Cass, West Fork and Hartford) did not show Mountainburg or any other new site neighbors when I checked them using using the Pro96Com software...

Thanks,
JJ
