I recently took my KPC3 packet TNC out of the garage and would love to put it back in use. Is there any activity on packet radio in the Los Angeles area?

not sure about packet packet but you could try aprs on 144.390, just download agw packet engine and uiview and/or agw tracker

Even better, download the latest version of APRSIS-CE (the Windows version) and watch all of the APRS activity in your area. The map will really come alive there!
