for the last 3 days now DPS District 8, has a patch up with Azwin on a dedicated Talk Group, more then 12 Trooper are using the Trunk system showing there Radio ID's on the AZWIN system, and the rest of the Troopers are still using the old U.H.F. radios at the moment they have been doing radio tests all day today on AZWIN and the old UHF radio, me thinks this is the beginning of the retirement of the Analog UHF here in Tucson area, with that said DPS likely got there funding to go 100% on AZWIN now!!

Which TG are they using?

I'd like to see if they're monitorable on any of the Phoenix area sites, such as South Mountain.

The ADOT Enforcement and Compliance Division can be heard statewide off of any of the sites across the state. I believe that they only have one centralized dispatch center, with one dispatch channel, and one tac/car-to-car channel, to cover the entire state. I don't know if they still have their two VHF-High channels available as backup, or for use in the areas that the AZWIN system doesn't yet cover. (Does AZWIN have any sites that provide coverage of I-40 in Apache & Navajo counties?)

They're no longer a part of the Motor Vehicle Division. They're their own division, and have been for several years now.

I haven't yet heard Tucson District 8 DPS on South Mountain. They may not be carried on it, unless they're involved in a pursuit that gets close enough to the Phoenix metro area.

So now for the last 2 days i am now hearing DPS District 6 Patch to CI-7 South here in Tucson however i am not seeing Radio ID's from the Troopers in the Field so its just Patch at moment,if you are in Pinal or Maricopa County you should be able hear it on AZWINS!
