I see the Air Force has scheduled a B-2 triple header flyby this coming Saturday late afternoon for Andrews AFB airshow,The Preakness and Millville NJ airshow (where I'll be).Keeps costs down for B-2 to hit all shows in one shot like this coming from Missouri (509BW).
The B-2 operates on UHF exclusively so for you UHF Mil Air fans a good chance to hear them.Normally they also fly an air spare along with single ship that actually does low aerial pass so listen on their squadron A/A discrete 388.850.

Also the usual area UHF ARTCC approaches like
Baltimore 317.425/251.3500
Wash Ctrs/Potomac appch 360.700,385.400,362.300.
Dover Appch 339.100,359.300
Millville 255.400
Atlantic City appch 385.500,327.1250
WX Metros 344.600,239.800,342.000
and any other regional UHF freqs you can think of.

Usually on airshow runs they use callsign FURY-## but also have been heard called RACCOON,DOOM,CZAR,SPIRIT and many others.

HMX-1 on Wednesday, May 18th @ Ft. Meade

FYI... (2) HMX-1 Helo's are expected at Ft. Meade on Wednesday for the Armed Forces Week Marine day celebration. Don't know when they are supposed to fly in, but they are on display for the military from 9:30-12:00.

:?: I think that 251.35 was a typo for 254.35, yes?

Anyway, the other milair BWI frequencies - actually these belong to Potomac TRACON, just like their civilian counterparts - are;
282.275
290.475
307.9
291.625

All in AM mode.

A related question - I know that you can get the latest ARINC usages in the civilian band (128-132 Mhz) from the latest FIPS. However, the UHF side hasn't been available in a very long time. Anyone know of a good reliable source?

Yes Mike that was a typo...sorry,should read 254.350

You can get latest UHF appch freqs to any airport including mil by going to Airnav.com,select airport like BWI,search, then scroll down to IAP list (Instrument Approach Procedures) and download PDF map for particular runway.

However ARTCC maps like ZDC with freqs on Airnav they want to charge $7 a map for each and sometimes they do change every few months or so I'll let that go.

Yeah, I'm kinda on a tight budget myself - being out of work for almost a year does that to one - so I think I'll let that pass too. Thanx for the tip.

Thanks Mike for reminder also about UHF freqs as just checked Airnav for Dover KDOV and had flagged changes****
I just checked these the other day so must be very recent...

Dover Tower is now 279.625 from previous 327.500
Dover appch is now 257.875 from previous 339.100
also Philly appch from Dover (rarely used) is 307.200 but that may be the same.

I think the mil air continues to get away from lower 325-340 range for FCC moving ground trunked digital mil ops into that range.

Hmm, they're using a 40 mhz offset for the 380 Mhz land mobile trunks? That's very interesting; I'd had thought they would use some smaller amount in the interest of spectrum conservation.

Actually I think the cause of the shift is something Larry Van Horn wrote about in MT; the military is shifting all their frequency allocations to .x25 splits to keep all the different services using the same bandplan.

Anyway, the B2 flyover will be interesting. The weather is supposed to be cloudy; hopefully the rain will hold off.
