I found these key combinations by accident on my scanner today and then searched them out in the Yahoo group. Just wanted to share all this with the Pro-95 owners. -- Gilligan

Turn scanner OFF, then turn it ON. While the WELCOME message is on
the screen do the following:
1) Press 1: Turns keypress tone on.
2) Press 2: Turns keypress tone off.
3) Press 3: Displays firmware version.
4) Press 0 then 1: Reinitializes the scanner, erases all settings. Do
not turn the scanner off until the initialization is complete.
5) Press 0 then 2: Programs scanner with test set of frequencies.
6) Press 0 then 3: Undocumented test mode. Doesn't appear to do
anything interesting.
7) Press 0 then 4: Control channel test mode. While in this mode,
tune to a Motorola or EDACS control channel in Manual mode. Display
in upper right will change to XX@MO for Motorola, or XX@ED for EDACS,
where "XX" is a two digit number representing the number of
successful control channel decodes per second.
8) Press 0 then 5: EEPROM Test mode. This will reinitialize the
scanner and erase all settings.
9) Press 0 then 6: Another EEPROM Test mode. This will reinitialize
the scanner and erase all settings.
